Find a Class

Here at Nouveau Wellbeing, we don't just want to get adults moving and enjoying exercise, but we want to help young people improve their health and wellbeing too. We have a range of services designed for schools and colleges to help introduce more physical activity into the curriculum, created in order to tackle the health issues facing more and more young people across the North East and the UK in general.

We have had previous educational commissions from a huge range of establishments, including Barnard Grove Primary, Jesmond Gardens Primary, St Joseph's RC Primary and Manor College of Technology, allowing us to expand our mission to engage children and adults alike in fun and affordable exercise.

Our educational fitness services include:

In-Curricular Workshops

One of our favourite things to do in schools is visit them on a one-off basis to provide an in-curricular workshop. This gives students the chance to work closely with our team of professional dancers and fitness coaches to put together choreographed performances in a range of styles and areas; we can even teach a workshop based around a subject your school is currently focusing on! These exciting and extremely enjoyable workshops help the students to work together to create something and build their confidence in performing, as well as potentially develop their interest in a particular aspect of dance.

Extra-Curricular Clubs

As well exercise programmes as part of a school curriculum, we also provide weekly clubs, either after school or earlier in the morning, in a wide range of dance and fitness disciplines depending on each individual school's requests. These often involve working with students over a number of weeks to develop their skills, then building towards an event where they can perform or share what they've learnt with teachers, friends and family. Including popular areas of dance like musical theatre or street dance, our extra-curricular classes are hugely beneficial to those who take part, helping to improve their balance, co-ordination, confidence and, of course, their fitness levels.

PPA Cover

Providing extra-curricular classes is also part of our PPA Cover service. If a school finds themselves with a shortage of PE teachers or an unexpected absence of staff, we at Nouveau Wellbeing are able to work with the school to teach after-school clubs, as well as normal PE lessons. It is vital that children engage in a healthy amount of physical activity per week, especially in school, and we are able to ensure they do so in an effective and enjoyable way.

If you work in a school and think that your students could benefit from any of our services, why not contact us at to find out how we can get your school moving?
