Over the past twelve months the Big Stride Project has engaged over 90 children and young people in a creative anti bullying themed dance programme to build confidence and self-esteem, develop friendships, increase positivity and raise aspirations. Last week, the unique and exciting children's athletics event Durham Dash took place in Durham city centre. The event saw young athletes from 24 local primary schools taking part in road races and field competitions as part of the Change4Life initiative, who were also the title sponsors.
