Nouveau Education

Nouveau Wellbeing CIC has a range of services designed specifically for schools and colleges

In Curricular Workshops:

Early Years: Our Creative Arts Early Years Programme is designed to allow children to develop physically by undertaking a range of fun dance and movement activities, personally, socially and emotionally by exploring world themes and events in a creative and expressive setting while using each of our themes as a tool to enhance literacy and numeracy. Each session allows children to communicate creatively to enhance language, confidence and personal development and reinforces the framework for The National Early Years Foundation Stage.

Schools: Our Creative Arts Schools Programme can be implemented within the PE curriculum (dance specific) and also follow a subject specific termly theme e.g. History – Egyptians using dancing and acting. The programme has been designed to increase knowledge, skills and critical thinking as well as helping students solve problems, make informed decisions, work independently and as part of a team. Each session allows pupils to communicate creatively to enhance communication, confidence and personal development.

Post-16 Education: An education specialist from our team will listen to your requirements to design a bespoke programme based around the aims and objectives for your pupils. Some examples include; engaging less active pupils in physical activity and providing a fun interactive experience around the benefits of being active, or promoting healthy body image to young women to help increase confidence and sel-esteem.

Extra-Curricular Clubs:

Extra Curricular Clubs are available in a range of dance and fitness disciplines as requested by each individual school. There is often a performance or sharing of activities after several weeks allowing the children to showcase to family members and peers. Skills developed include timing, balance and co-ordination as well as increasing confidence, self-esteem, and fitness levels.

Family Learning:

Family Learning enables parents and guardians to work together with their children and other families. These workshops help develop parent-child and adult-child relationships, social interaction and team work, and increase fitness levels.

If a school finds themselves with a shortage of PE teachers or an unexpected absence of staff, we at Nouveau Wellbeing are able to work with the school to plan and deliver quality dance and physical activity lessons following approved and structured lesson plans.

Adult & Community Learning:

Nouveau Wellbeing has provided a range of Adult and Community Education Courses over the past several years to help adults and communities become more active, feel great, increase confidence, improve skills and lead to employment or training.

Continuing Professional Development:

Training for Continuing Professional Development is available for teachers requiring additional support to improve their knowledge and develop new resources in a range of dance genres, choreography and educational dance programmes.
